FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN), America's largest automotive retailer, announced that Mike Jackson, Chairman, CEO and President of AutoNation, and Mayor John P. Through its Drive Pink Initiative, AutoNation has raised more than $11 Million to fund cancer related charities. When the initiative first launched in 2015, Mr. Jackson & Mayor Seiler united to "paint a road" pink as a symbolic gesture of support. Last year, AutoNation took the relationship a step further, by partnering with the City of Fort Lauderdale Fire Department to provide "Real Heroes Drive Pink' Shirts" to all first responders. And this year, the giant ribbon will stand as a visual reminder of the importance of raising awareness and funding for the cause.

Recently, AutoNation was named one of America's top 100 Corporate Citizens by Forbes Magazine and Just Capital due to its commitments to community well-being and its fight against cancer.
