AutoNation Announces Second Quarter Earnings Conference Call and Audio Webcast Scheduled for Thursday, July 28, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN), America's largest automotive retailer, announced today that it will release its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2005 on Thursday, July 28, 2005 before 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Mike Jackson, chairman and chief executive officer; Mike Maroone, president and chief operating officer; and Craig Monaghan, chief financial officer, will discuss these results and information regarding the Company's business and operating environment during a conference call and audio webcast that same morning at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
